Spiral dancing – Feldenkrais into Contact

I will use the somatic approach of the Feldenkrais Method as a way into CI, creating a quiet space where we can listen to our own body and question how we organize and eventually re-pattern movement. With exploratory sequences we will discover and clarify the function of the spiral, as powerful and fundamental principle of human movement. We will access new internal pathways that can be transferred and expanded in our contact duets. We will experience how the spiral in our Contact practice is a form to find trust, clarity and effortlessness during the communication of weight.

The spiral is also a complex action that reveals hidden pathways in the physical dialogue between bodies and generates exciting and unpredictable dances.
